In 1999  I started my journey as a Teaching Assistant at Yadkinville School.  It was during this time I make the decision to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. After completing my degree in 2006, I started teaching 3rd grade. I received my Masters Degree in Reading Education in December of 2012.  Reading is my passion and I consider it a privilege to share that enjoyment with children. Young readers develop into lifelong readers by sharing great literature with others. I enjoy having the opportunity to do this daily.
