First grade was my favorite year and I wanted to be a first grade teacher ever since! I followed that dream by attending Appalachian State University in which I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 2010 and a Master's Degree in Reading Instruction in 2013.  I began my career in the fall of 2010 at Yadkinville Elementary.  Teaching children how to read is my absolute passion!
